Description

Taken a couple nights ago, the SH2-158 or NGC7538 is a little nebula tough to capture and process, and mostly overlooked compared to its famous big brothers the Bubble and Claw Nebulas. It is located in the constellation Cepheus and about 9,100 light-years from Earth. It is said to be home to the biggest yet discovered protostar which is about 300 times the size of the Solar System. It is located in the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way .  You can see the tail of the claw nebula on the lower right hand side of the image.
